First Doctors Weight Loss: About Us

First Doctors Weight Loss was created as a solution for patients seeking liposuction cosmetic surgery but too obese to qualify. A food plan was developed for each client. After our patients started seeing results, they began to refer their friends for the weight loss program.

Due to the success of our program, the weight loss practice grew exponentially, and other offices were opened. We now have a weight loss clinic in Rome, Hiram, and Douglasville, GA. First Doctors Weight Loss centers are now voted annually as the “Number One Weight Loss Program” in West Georgia.

Doctor and Staff Credentials

• Our clinic doctor holds an M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) degree. He was a Chief Resident in residency training and later Chief of Staff in multiple hospitals. He now has over 35 years of experience treating obesity and related illnesses.
• Our clinic nurse holds an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner license, a Master's in Science of Nursing degree (MSN), and more than 10 years of experience treating obesity-related illnesses.
• The clinic’s dietary counselors are specially trained to teach patients about our food plan and exercise needs.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide are administered exactly the same way. We prescribe and dispense them in the office. Patients may have us administer them first or self-administer them at home. Our patients do not microdose Semaglutide.

We also administer HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), Lipotropics (a combination of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals), and B12, all injectables. We offer oral appetite suppressants to those patients deemed suitable. All of these supplements help the body metabolize fat.

We approach the problem from a purely medical standpoint. We are not a med spa or chiropractic office. We don’t do facials and massages. Our craft is weight loss. A patient’s medical status is evaluated before any weight loss plan is formulated. Then, our medical doctor, who is a licensed specialist in obesity medicine, treats the patient with continued patient care. Our medications are dispensed in the office, eliminating the need for the patient to go to a pharmacy.
